Twenty F-35 jets from Vermont landed on the 11,000-foot runway of the former Roosevelt Roads Naval Station at the eastern tip of Puerto Rico last weekend.

Closed since 2004 Roosevelt Roads was officially reactivated in September as a staging ground for attacking Venezuela. Vermont Air National Guard F-35 jet pilots await orders to attack from that base just 500 miles from Caracas.
